How does this checker work without crawling a URL?
It analyses the HTML you paste, so it reads the real tags on your page instead of guessing. Browsers cannot fetch other websites directly for security reasons, so pasting your page source gives an accurate, private snapshot in seconds.
What is a good on-page SEO score?
Aim to pass every check — a score of 90 or above means the on-page fundamentals are covered. The score is a checklist of basics, not a ranking guarantee: content quality, links and page speed still decide positions.
Which meta tags matter most?
The title, meta description, canonical link and the Open Graph plus Twitter Card tags. Together they control your search snippet and social preview and help search engines understand what each page is about.
Is my page data sent anywhere?
No. The audit runs entirely in your browser using the DOM parser. Nothing you paste is uploaded, stored or shared — it is the same as inspecting your own page locally.
